Foreign Concessions in Developing Natural Resources of Northeastern RSFSR in 1920s

This article examines the establishment of state concession policy in USSR during 1920s, focusing on its objectives and principles, as well expansion into northeastern regions Soviet state. The natural resources territories Russia had attracted attention foreign concessionaires since prerevolutionary times, who established a network trading representations for procurement export furs, mammoth bones, fish, various raw materials. In conducted significant work to prepare approve legislative acts regulating activities aimed at strengthening influence over them. Special bodies were created address these issues, including trade departments (Vneshtorg), commissions (concesscom), planning commissions.
